Art practice
Reetta Sutinen is a sculptor, painter and visual arts educator based in Helsinki. She has a Master of Arts degree from the University of Lapland. Reetta’s works take organic and relaxed forms that appear nearly regonizable yet unfamiliar. They take shape as escapist organisms offering moments of refuge amid turbulences of society.
Visual arts education
Reetta is deeply interested in the interaction between art and its audience — and, through that, accessibility. She emphasizes joy and a sense of success as key to learning and enjoying contemporary art. Reetta provides present, safe, and forward-driving guidance to her students or visitors.
